Cast the line and see what bites! The HABA Here, Fishy, Fishy! Magnetic Game invites little ones to fish for colorful sea dwellers using a magnetic rod — in free imaginative play or following the simple game rules for a first taste of structured gameplay. Either way, every catch is a win.

Players: 1–4. Playing time: 5–10 minutes. Part of the HABA My Very First Games series.

Why Kids Love It

The magnetic fishing rod mechanic is endlessly satisfying for little hands — lowering the line, feeling the catch, and reeling in a sea creature delivers a genuine moment of excitement every turn. Free play mode lets children bring the sea and its inhabitants to life however their imagination takes them, with no rules required.

First Game Rules

When ready for structured play, the included die and collecting boards introduce children to their very first game rules in a gentle, low-pressure way. A perfect first step toward turn-taking, following instructions, and understanding simple game mechanics.

Learning Through Play

Fishing with the magnetic rod builds hand-eye coordination and concentration with every cast. Color recognition and matching develop naturally through gameplay, making this a quietly educational experience that feels like pure fun.
