The universe, right above the crib. The Ganapati Crafts Co. Solar System Felt Baby Mobile is a handcrafted artisan mobile made from soft, colorful felted wool — planets in orbit and a spaceship mid-mission, suspended together in a gentle, swaying arrangement that turns the nursery ceiling into the most beautiful corner of the cosmos your little explorer will ever discover.

Why Parents Love It

Every mobile is handmade by skilled artisans in Nepal using traditional felting techniques, with intricate details that give each planet its own color, scale, and character. The solar system cast is as accurate as it is beautiful — the kind of mobile that quietly begins a lifelong curiosity about space, science, and the enormity of everything out there, long before baby has the words to ask about any of it. The spaceship is the detail that makes the whole scene come alive: not just planets in static orbit, but a mission in progress, a voyage underway, a small felt craft pointed toward something just beyond the frame. The bold, colorful palette works beautifully in space-themed nurseries, gender-neutral rooms, and any interior where curiosity and imagination are the guiding aesthetic. A wonderful baby shower gift for the science-loving family, the parent who already has strong opinions about which planet deserves more credit, or anyone who wants to give a baby the whole universe to look up at.
